REALTORS® Care Blanket & Food Drive 2024: Join Us in Supporting Local Families

For the 30th consecutive year, CADREB is proud to bring back the REALTORS® Care Blanket & Food Drive, supporting our communities as the colder season begins. This year’s drive will run from November 12 to November 19, 2024, and we’re placing special emphasis on non-perishable food items and warm winter essentials to address the growing needs of local families.

What We’re Collecting

We’re looking for a variety of donations, with food donations especially needed this year due to local shortages. Here’s what to consider contributing:

• Non-Perishable Food Items: Canned goods (soups, vegetables, fruits), pasta, rice, nut butters, canned proteins, baby formula, and other essentials.
• Warm Winter Items: Gently used or new winter jackets, blankets, and other warm clothing to help community members stay comfortable in the colder months.

Drop-Off Locations by Region

To ensure donations benefit local families in need, each region has its own designated collection and distribution locations:

• Chilliwack: Donations collected in Chilliwack will go to Ruth and Naomi’s Mission and the Salvation Army.
• Hope: Donations in Hope will be sent to Northwest Harvest Church and will be accepted on Saturday, November 16th only.
• Agassiz: Contributions from Agassiz will support Agassiz/Harrison Community Services
